The ball tracking system works using technology called Doppler Radar. Doppler Radar was initially designed to track speed, trajectory, flight / launch and rate of descent on missiles!!!!
Anything that can track a missile at around 600 miles per hour shouldn’t have any difficulty following a golf ball at around 130 miles an hour.

Before committing to this system we looked into all the launch monitors available and when tested the Flightscope equipment came out on top accurately tracking the golf ball to less than a yard in 260 – regardless of direction!
